Digging the web for some The Office news, and here they are —-
First stop, Emmy interviews. Yep, I know. These are pretty late, as the Emmy awards ceremony has been done for about a week now. But I have compiled some more videos, photos and what-have-you’s of The Office cast from all over the web. Just in case there’s still someone who have missed these… (and I highly doubt that, The Office fans are the best at finding news and information first!). Anyhow, hope you enjoy these goodies, late as they are:
Here are TV.Com’s interview of Steve Carell and Rainn Wilson
- Steve corrected the interviewer who was probably messing around with him, when she said “regime” instead of “regimen”. This was a pet peeve he mentioned while guesting on Leno some few months back.
- Rainn was asked what his fans are like and he answers they are secret geeks between 11 and 27 but would much prefer his fans to be Playboy bunnies, if he had to choose. And Dwight should become a porn producer. And for that night, in support of Emmy’s going green, Rainn said ate a lettuce. He’s completely messing around with the interviewer.
Speaking of Steve Carell, if you are a TV Guide magazine reader, you might want to send in your questions to Steve Carell. This will be featured in an upcoming issue.
Second agenda, Emmy Fashion. The Office LJ Community collected Emmy Red Carpet photos of the cast members here. I’m no fashion maverick but I think you would agree — the guys looked all dashing and handsome, while the girls did not particularly blow whistles. My local paper’s fashion page even dished out on Jenna’s dress calling it outrageous.
Third, TV guestings. As it is just days left before the premiere of Season 4 (you can count the days with your fingers!), expect the cast to appear on some shows for promos. On Thursday, Sept 27th, some of the cast will supposedly appear on The Today Show. And a day before that, Steve Carell joins Leno on his show.
Fourth and finally, those who have signed up for Dunder-Mifflin Infinity should have received the welcome letter Ryan Howard, Dunder-Mifflin Director, sent.
By joining the Dunder Mifflin Infinity team, you have joined a movement. A movement that will sweep the nation. A movement that will shatter all of your preconceptions regarding how paper and office supplies are sold, distributed, catalogued, warehoused, and delivered. Dunder Mifflin Infinity was designed, by myself, as a means to topple the old guard. If my projections are correct, this project will make Dunder Mifflin more profitable than Exxon (in terms of comparative percentages). Aren’t you glad you’re here?
The idea behind Dunder Mifflin Infinity is explained in detail via Office Tally.
Season premiere this week, whoooohoooo!
