…why don’t we do another round-up?
TV Squad chats with Rainn Wilson and tells them what he does during shooting breaks at the set. The guy googles himself! Heh.
John Krasinski was on Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. Here’s the video. I have not yet seen this myself…so I do not know how that went (will watch it in a while). The video of Leatherheads is already out, by the way.
BJ Novak is profiled in the New York Times
Jenna Fischer is dating again. She’s been going out with writer Lee Kirk since January and is Texan just like Jenna Jenna’s best friend, Angela. No wonder she is looking really beautiful in spite of her marriage’s break up. The girl’s inspired and in love!
Amy Ryan and Brian Baumgartner talk more Office in these videos from E!
Jenna Fischer, looking really gorgeous in the yellow dress, attended the first Kitty Rescue’s Fur Ball Event that aimed to raise funds for the Kitten Sanctuary. She was hostess of the said event.
Here are the photos and videos. I hope they raised a lot of money!
Maybe this isn’t something you know, but Jenna is crazy about cats. She’s a crazy cat lady! Read the People Magazine feature here.
She was the only one from the cast who was at the Creative Emmy Awards which was held Saturday evening. Not quite sure who she handed an award to but the Creative Emmy’s ceremony will be aired on E! on September 20th. And then following that, on Sunday… we’re going to find out if anyone from The Office has won, when the Primetime Emmy winners are announced.
Basing on these recent spoiler alert, I think we’re finally getting that proposal looming in the air since the first episode of Season 4 and I think we’re getting it early in Season 5…
With a bigger budget comes…fake rain? Rumor has it that something momentous (and long overdue) takes place between the star-crossed lovers during a torrential downpour.

She’s free everyone! She has been released from captivity. Although, sadly The Rocker didn’t meet the intended box office target. Officially on that site, Jenna didn’t make it, too. (I haven’t seen The Rocker yet but I am definitely catching it on the big screen…just have to get parenting duties and work out of the way, Rainn.)
As for Jenna, she is really alive and well and already talking to the E! She shares a few things about what’s going on with Pam at The Office…who is actually in an Art School for much of the fourth season.
You probably know this already but Jenna Fischer once said in an interview that she tried out for the part of Sydney Bristow on Alias. Only, she was turned down because she was told she wasn’t “sexy enough”.
This and more casting misses are found in the book, “Mickey Rooney as Archie Bunker and Other TV Casting Almosts” written by Eila Mall.
Can you imagine Jenna as Sydney Bristow though? I honestly can’t. I get this vision of her not being able to lie through her teeth, which is what Sydney Bristow’s work involves. Jenna as Sydney would probably crack up the minute she tells a farce. Maybe because I so associate her natural self to Pam already.
Rainn Wilson, who has kidnapped his Office co-star, Jenna Fischer, the other day, has officially launched a website for this. Visit FreeJennaNow!
Thanks to the officefan who posted this in our comments section.
In a hilarious attempt to shamelessly promote his upcoming movie, The Rocker, Rainn Wilson is holding his The Office co-star Jenna Fischer hostage, until his demands —- “spend your 10.50$ American on THE ROCKER, get yourself a popcorn and a Mountain Dew, bring 1800 of your closest friends so that 1) Jenna gets a smoothie and 2) They let me be in another movie someday” —- are met.
Here’s what E! has scooped about what’s going to happen to Pam Beesley in the upcoming season:
The report doesn’t elaborate on Jim Halpert, though. But with the mention of Rich Sommer’s casting in this very article, I wonder if he’s going to play a potential third wheel to the PB & J?

We’re having site issues lately so if you’ve been trying to visit this site (Thank you very much!) and end up waiting forever for the pages to load, I do apologize. Some server problem is causing this site to slowdown and hopefully, it will be fixed.
Anyway, in and around the world of The Office —-
Brian (Kevin) and Kate (Meredith) appeared on Last Comic Standing last Thursday. I saw the program as I am a fan of it. I just failed to record a video of Brian and Kate’s segment. As judges they were serious people! Brian even almost ended up arguing with someone…who was crazy, so Brian was in the right there. Clips should be available on NBC.com soon.
Steve Carell is Forbes Magazine’s 87th most powerful celebrity today. Wow. And he remains quite the humble guy even with all that power. The actor will be appearing on Talk shows all of this week, as Get Smart’s theater run is coming up. He will be on:
He will also be at the Soho Apple Center in NY on the 18th.
The cast praise Angela Kinsey’s mothering skills, in this article from People Magazine.
Jenna Fischer appeared on Ferguson the other week. And she has been updating her blog this summer.
There’s a chance of yet another strike looming…What happens to The Office if the actors do go on strike? THR says the show still has no finish product, should the strike take place. But let’s hope a deal is worked out before the deadline ends this month. Or else, The Office Season 5 will be delayed…and we don’t want that.

Watch Jenna’s fun, fun interview on Letterman last Friday:
Jenna was featured on NPR the other day, where she talked about how she was able to break into Hollywood, among other things….
From NPR:
Jenna Fischer is probably best known for her role on NBC’s comedy series The Office. She plays Pam, the receptionist — one of the show’s most recognizably real characters.
If you’ve ever worked in a clerical position in an alienating office, you’ll relate to what Pam goes through. In this interview, Fischer tells Terry Gross about creating all those pained looks and knowing smiles — and about how her five years as an office temp helped to prepare her for the role.
Steve Carell interview on Good Housekeeping as posted in Celebrity Baby Blog.
Calender in his latest movie Get Smart, with Anne Hathaway, opening June 20th.
Jenna Fischer will be on David Letterman this week….either on tonight or on Friday. She has also updated her blog with answers from questions she has fielded from fans the previous week. Jenna’s Blog 1 | Jenna’s Blog 2
Listen to BJ Novak’s radio interview at Seattle’s KISS 106.1. The actor/writer/comedian is also scheduled to appear in at Caroline’s in New York for three nights this week.
Watch Kate Flannery over here, doing Lampshades with Creed on June 7th.
Did you happen to catch Oscar Nunez and Angela Kinseyon Last Comic Standing last Thursday? They were judging the talent show and were really nice to the comedians. The rest of The Office cast members are appearing in succeeding episodes:
The Office, Steve Carell, Jenna Fischer, BJ Novak, Kate Flannery, Creed, Oscar Nunez, Angela Kinsey

Watching The Office follows the lives of office workers in the fictional Dunder Mifflin Paper Company, as they face day to day business operations under the guidance or actually, misguidance, of their often inappropriate boss, Michael Scott. One of NBC's best comedy shows, The Office is the incarnation of a revolutionary BBC TV comedy bearing the same title. Hailed for its sharp humor and unique concept, The Office has received multiple recognitions from several award giving bodies since its USA premiere in 2005. Watching The Office will cover everything we get our hands on regarding the show, And from time to time, we will also bring the spotlight on its British version. So, pick a desk and settle down. Let's get working…
