The Office: Somebody Else Is Pregnant!

Monday, May 5th, 2008

48758_2_.jpgAnd it’s not Angela… who just gave birth to baby daughter Isabel Ruby over the weekend.

According to this site , the pregnancy is script related. Someone is infanticipating but there’s no word on who.

It can’t be Phyllis nor Meredith. On Dwight’s Org chart, they both no longer have their monthly periods.

Care to guess? My Schrute buck is on Jan. Because now that Michael and her have broken up, what’s the reason to keep her in the cast, except…this.

What do you think?

Big Office Changes: Spinoff and Season Finale Scoops

Wednesday, April 30th, 2008

Watch With Kristin is reporting that Greg Daniels and Michael Schur will head the planned spinoff for The Office. She also confirms that Paul Leiberstein isn’t leaving the show, even as the finale episode is entitled, “Goodbye Toby” | Read Watch With Kristin

On the other hand, Toby leaving Dunder Mifflin isn’t the big season finale twist of The Office, according to TV Guide.

Dwight and AndyAccording to several well-placed birdies, whose decision to sing to me like the proverbial canary was clearly in breach of their confidentiality agreements, there are three even bigger plot twists that will profoundly impact Angela, Dwight, Andy, Jan, Toby, Michael, Jim and Pam. I will now possibly reveal what those three twists are among (or not) the following six options (Possible Major Spoiler Alert): an engagement, a death, an infidelity, a pregnancy, a fire and a coming-out. Let the wild speculation begin!

It is also rumored that Toby’s replacement will be guest star Amy Ryan of The Wire (also from TV Guide): I’m hearing that she’s playing Toby’s replacement, a pretty young thing with whom Michael becomes instantly enamored. And by “enamored” I mean horny.

The Office: Season 4 Finale News — An engagement, a farewell, and a new boss!

Thursday, April 24th, 2008

jim and pam the office Evidently, shooting of The Office’s finale for this season was shrouded in so much secrecy that the press had to sign a confidentiality agreement for the first time, according to Kristing from E! who was able to go behind the scenes.
What we viewers are told however, is to expect the following to happen in the season finale:

An engagement. Clearly, we know whose engagement it is. But the how it happens, that’s something no one has any clue. And we may even expect a twist. Jim has the ring, sure. But what if Pam proposes? Or Dwight steals the thunder and proposes to Angela? There will be an engagement but anything can happen. Pam is also supposed to reveal something about her before the big finale. It sounds like a nasty, disgusting habit we don’t know she can actually be capable of doing. But it may also have something to do with the big engagement.

A farewell. Someone is definitely leaving. It’s not difficult to figure out why — it’s for the spin-off with Ed Helms (Andrew Bernard).

A new boss. Again, for the spin-off. TV Guide’s Ausiello has confirmed she’s going to be none other than Amanda Peet. Well, I wasn’t so sure about the spin-off but I actually like Amanda Peet, so I’m pretty psyched about this news.

What do you think about all these news? And more importantly, is the spin-off starting to sound favorable to you now? Ed Helms and Amanda Peet — so far, I’m liking the combination.

The Office Spoiler: Jim and Pam Engagement?

Tuesday, April 8th, 2008

jimpam.jpgSome spoiler scoops from Ausiello of TV Guide

Apparently, a “big stuff” happens in the following weeks and his source confirms this will take place April 17th

“But the April 17 episode merely serves as the staging ground. Apparently, the plot is set in motion next week, picks up steam on April 24, and then climaxes on May 1.”

As to the spin-off : According to an insider, the Michael-Dwight dynamic is “too integral to the show.” The likelier scenario, according to a Peacock insider, has Ed Helms’ Andy headlining Office 2.0. “That idea was batted around prior to the strike,” whispers my source, “and NBC seemed interested.”

Andy Bernard? Hmmm.

Dinner Party’s Mysterious Guest Revealed

Tuesday, March 25th, 2008

The second photos of the upcoming April 10th episode, “Dinner Party”, came out a lot of Office fans have been wondering just who this woman to the left is. OfficeTally even ran a poll about it:

NUP_130071_0260.jpg

I’ve always believed it was Jan because she had another photo along this one, with her hair tied up that way. But I soon realized, the facial features are slightly different. And it was that of an older woman. Who is she then?

Latest Dwangela News from TV Guide

Thursday, March 13th, 2008

Just posting this one quickly…a buzz from Ausiello of TV Guide:

Question: Hey! I just wanted to know what’s going on with The Office. Is there going to be a Dwangela baby on the way now that Angela Kinsey is going to be a real-life mommy?

Ausiello: You know what the best part of my job is? Having my ego stroked on an almost minute-by-minute basis. When other people do it for me. So check out this week’s installment of Mitovich’s Megaminute (it’s live even as you read this), and Matt will hook you up with the 411 on the possibility of Dunder-Mifflin getting a nursery. Meanwhile, what this next thing means for The Office staff, I can only imagine. In an upcoming episode, we’ll meet Old Man Jones, an old man (duh) who works out of the DM office park, and a popular and pricey Scranton call girl. Oh, Creed, what have you done now?

Office Rumor: 30 Episodes for Season 5

The Office Spoiler Alert: Karen may still be back!

Thursday, February 28th, 2008

images_3.jpgA blurb of an Office spoiler lands in an E! column the other day. And it has something to do with the possibility of Karen coming back for more episodes.  I do hope this turns out to be true — I still would like to see Karen in the show once in a while. Here’s what was on E!:

(Fan question) Any scoop on the new episodes of The Office coming in April?

Just that Rashida Jones told me last week at the Unhitched premiere party that she was originally slated to do another episode this season! No telling if that will still work in this wacky poststrike environment, but it seems we might not yet have seen the last of Utica’s lovely Karen Filippelli. | Watch with Kristin

The Office: What Story We’re Missing (Spoiler)

Tuesday, January 8th, 2008

Untitled_1.jpgThis may have come a bit too late, as I’ve never posted any more spoiler right after the strike took place last November. Some of you may or may not have already heard of it; or because of the long hiatus, some may have already forgotten about it. But at any rate, now is a good time to post this as any, so that we can all at least relish the idea of what we have to look forward to, once the writers are back at work.

As everyone is aware, The Office was the very first show to shut down production as soon as the strike hit. The week that happened, the cast was supposed to shoot their ninth episode, tentatively titled Dinner Party, following Jan’s deposition. What this episode’s about consist of a dinner party hosted by Michael and Jan at the former’s condo unit. The writers for this particular episode, Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky, have particularly expressed that this was something different, most awkward perhaps, but still a different departure from what we normally see from The Office. In fact, this was a storyline two years in the making. Jim and Pam were supposedly guests to that dinner party and it wasn’t clear whether or not there were others, or it was just these two couples. The cast and crew have been quoted in interviews saying it was one of the funniest table reads they’ve ever had.

Sucks that we have to wait awhile to find out what happened.

Spoiler: Karen is back at The Office

Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007

This is something I just have to add real quick, since I just read this on TV Guide….

Question: I’m in need of some scoop on The Office. — Sarah

Ausiello: Jim and Pam are finally happy, so you know what that means: It’s time for Karen to put in an appearance! Rashida Jones is due back on the set next week to shoot scenes at Karen’s new place of employ. Office producers are currently casting the role of her assistant, a twentysomething metrosexual who is friendly and has a good energy. Meanwhile, I hear new bossman Ryan is also in the market for an assistant — and she’s smokin’. According to the casting notice, she’s in her early twenties, businesslike, attractive and smart. In other words, Kelly’s worst nightmare come true!

Season 4 Episode 3 & 4 Synopsis

Tuesday, September 25th, 2007

The episode synopsis for The Office’s third and fourth episode for season 4 have now been released:

nullLaunch Party
Date Airing: October 11th

The Dunder Mifflin Infinity website is launching and Michael is excited about going to the big launch party in New York while Angela plans a satellite party for the Scranton branch. Meanwhile, Dwight competes against the website to see who can sell the most paper in one day.

The Dunder Mifflin Infinity website was discussed previously here.

Angela and her parties! *rolls eyes* (and yes, I would have to someone not invited at Angela’s parties since I’m probably not her kind of people, haha!).

And of course, Dwight’s competitive side is always something hilarious to see. I can’t wait!

Money
Date Airing: Oct. 18th 2007

EASY COME, EASY GO–As Jan (Melora Hardin) renovates the condo, Michael(Golden Globe winner Steve Carell) confronts his growing debt every way he can, which includes pressuring his employees for a loan. Pam(Jenna Fischer) and Jim (John Krasinski) spend a night out on Dwight’s(Rainn Wilson) family farm, now a bed and breakfast.

Okay, wait a minute…Dwight runs a bed and breakfast? So, I guess that’s where the Hell Convention takes place?

And the idea of Jan taking charge of Michael’s personal space? It does seem like where this couple’s story is going, based on how Season 3 ended. I remember Michael going iffy when Dwight spent a couple of days in his condo. But then again, in fairness to Michael, I would also grow uncomfortable if my roommate happens to be someone like Dwight!

And ahhhh —- Jim and Pam’s night out! Whooooot!

Season 4 Episode Guides:

1) Fun Run - Sept 27
2) Dunder Mifflin Infinity 10/4
3) Launch Party 10/11
4) Money
