Happy New Year!
With the holidays over, I welcome everyone back to reality. And without any other positive developments from the writers strike, one could say that the reality for television is bleak. But I don’t wanna dwell on that. In 2008, we shall remain to enjoy television, we shall still love talking about The Office.
And what better way to start this week than to look back at this awesome compilation of The Office’s notable achievements for the past year. Thanks to the prolific people of OfficeTally!
The folks at Life in The Office have a more positive outlook about the writers strike affecting all of TV, putting hope that The Office will be back despite the strike. That’s the spirit! And yes, I hope the WGA’s strategy of approaching production companies per se works out; all for the benefit of viewers like us who would like to see some proper conclusion to this season. I’ve resigned myself to the fact that this will be a short season, but I’m wishing for a proper end to each of the stories we’ve come to watch this year.
Anyway, while you probably were filling up your belly with holiday treats, Steve Carell was on TV last week, honoring the other Steve (Martin) during the 2007 Kennedy Center Honors:
Well someone might become very busy in the next couple of months, pending negotiations of his new TV series. David Denman, who played Roy, Pam’s ex-boyfriend, is set to do a series with actor, Zach Braff (Scrubs) for Fox called “Saints of Circumstance”, according to this report.
Speaking of Pam, what’s this blurb I read on the National Ledger — Jenna Fischer + David Spade? Happy, sad or don’t care about it?
There you have it, just another round of news about the show and its cast.
Happy New Year! We will keep business as usual…
The Office, Steve Carell, Jenna Fischer, David Denman, Steve Martin, David Spade, Zach Braff, Saints of Circumstance
