Steve Carell at The Kid’s Choice Awards

by

Here are some pics from this year’s Kid’s Choice Awards. Our friend Steve Carell presented with Toby Maguire of Spiderman. Here are some before and after shots.

The two presented the “Favorite Animated Movie” award. It went to Happy Feet, directed by George Miller. Nicole Kidman accepted on his behalf. She reportedly walked on stage, removed her jacket and then hugged the slimed Carell and Maguire.

To me, it looks like Steve Carell has been working out. He looks much more hip and young than he ever does on The Office. What do you think?

Speaking of other awards for a minute, The Office has taken the prestigous Peabody Award. What is a Peabody Award you ask?

The award recognize distinguished achievement and meritorious service by radio and television networks, stations, producing organizations, cable television organizations and individuals … Today the George Foster Peabody Awards are often cited as the most prestigious awards in electronic media.

Of The Office, it was said that…

“This American adaptation of the Peabody-winning British hit of the same title — a comedy of workplace manners and politics presented in faux documentary form — has firmly established its own precise voice and studied brilliance.?

Well said. Congrats to The Office. I think I’ve lost count of how many awards either the show or the cast members have won. Anyone know? Scrubs, Ugly Betty, and Friday Night Lights were among other televison winners.

Hahaha, I love the before and after pictures. Steve Carell has the exact same expression on his face in both, but poor Toby has such a disappointed look on his face afterwards. Great stuff!
