The Office honored at TV Land

Steve Carell and the cast of The Office attended the TV Land Awards last Sunday. Steve served as presenter and also to receive the Future Classic Award for the show. The actual ceremonies will air on June 15th (at the TV Land channel).
Do you love TV nostalgia? You won’t want to miss the TV Land Awards.
The ceremony taped over the weekend, and it will air at 9 p.m. Sunday on — where else? — TV Land. If you’re not interested in the Tonys on CBS, TV Land offers a real alternative.
Here are a few incentives to watch:
Jonathan Winters receives the Pioneer Award from Robin Williams. Yes, imagine how wonderfully silly that will be.
The cast of “The Golden Girls” receives the Pop Culture Award from Steve Carell. Bea Arthur, Betty White and Rue McClanahan collect the well-deserved prize.
The cast of “Roseanne” picks up the Innovator Award from Teri Hatcher.
Representing the “Roseanne” cast are Roseanne Barr, John Goodman, Sara Gilbert, Michael Fishman, Martin Mull, Johnny Galecki and the two “Beckys,” Alicia Goranson and Sarah Chalke.
Garry Marshall receives the Legend Award. Look who’s giving it to him: Penny Marshall, Cindy Williams, Henry Winkler, Jack Klugman and Dick Van Dyke.
NBC’s “The Office” earns the Future Classic Award. Presenting the award are Ed Asner and William Shatner.
Mike Myers picks up the Legacy of Laughter Award from Justin Timberlake.
Lionel Richie recevies the Icon Award from Samuel L. Jackson.
And Vanessa Williams hosts and sings “I’m Flying” from “Peter Pan.”
