The Office Round Up Nov 12
Ratings Updates: The Office remains a steady eddie on their Thursday time slot, amidst two adversities — the WGA strike and NBC’s mandatory Going Green theme. The people behind the show did the best they could to go with the theme, by the way. But NBC, please do not have this again, I beg you. Here’s how the show stood with ratings last Thursday:

1. “CSI (CBS) 21.92m
2. “Without a Trace (CBS) 21.39m
3. “Grey’s Anatomy (ABC) 19.30m
4. “Survivor: China (CBS) 14.91m
5. “Ugly Betty (CBS) 10.89m
6. “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? (FOX) 8.77m
7. “Big Shots (ABC) 8.62m
8. “ER (NBC) 8.42m
9. “The Office (NBC) 8.29m
10. “My Name is Earl (NBC) 7.66m
11. “30 Rock (NBC) 6.61m
12. “Don’t Forget the Lyrics (FOX) 6.48m
13. “Scrubs (NBC) 6.36m
14. “Smallville (CW) 4.95m
15. “Supernatural (CW) 3.01m
Strike Updates: The bad news has been laid upon us last week. And from what I read, some of the crew members working on The Office have been laid off by the studio. Laid off! I was hoping it would be resolved after a week, but it’s just getting worse, people.
Jenna Fischer wrote on her blog that their trailers have been cleared out.
They cleaned out my trailer and just delivered me 3 boxes of my stuff. It is pretty surreal. We cannot produce new episodes of The Office until the Writer’s Guild strike is over.
She wrote a second entry to explain their stand further. It’s sad and I’m personally depressed over the situation. But at least Rainn Wilson could still joke about it.
If you want to do something about the strike — show your support, let the studios and network know, Office Tally is posing a challenge to all fans of The Office to write a letter to NBC/Universal. Perhaps they will listen to us, the audience.
