The Office Season 4 Premiere
Alright, finally! The date is set.
NBC has announced the premiere dates of its fall season, yesterday. The Office will begin its Season 4 run on September 27, Thursday, with an hour long episode slated at 9-10PM.
“We can’t wait for the new season to begin and we believe that these programming changes will allow for a powerhouse Monday night with ‘Chuck,’ ‘Heroes’ and ‘Journeyman,’” said Silverman. “On Tuesdays, the 90-minute ‘The Biggest Loser’ has always performed well and will fit perfectly with our new summer hit ‘The Singing Bee.’ On Fridays, we can hammock ‘Friday Night Lights’ between two proven hits ‘Deal or No Deal’ and ‘Las Vegas,’ with new cast member Tom Selleck.”
Said Graboff: “We like that we can start our season off strong with hour-long episodes of such comedy favorites as ‘Earl’ and ‘The Office.‘
Gosh, seems September 27 is still a long wait.
More from NBC though…
And starting in late August fans of “The Office” will be able to deepen and enrich their entertainment experience with “The Office 360.” Beginning with the launch of a special Dunder Mifflin corporate site, fans will be able to join and form new branches as part of an online job fair. Once branches are established, weekly tasks will be assigned from “Corporate.” Tasks will mostly correspond to topics or events featured in the broadcast show, but will also include online-specific challenges such as creating individual branch logos or ad campaigns, completing online games and interacting with other Dunder Mifflin branches. Through continued participation fans can earn Schrute-Bucks for themselves and their branch, which they can use to decorate their virtual office as they climb their way up the Dunder Mifflin corporate ladder.
