The Office UK’s Patrick Baladi in No Heroics

Patrick Baladi The Office Uk Patrick Baladi Fans of The Office UK will remember Patrick Baladi as Neal, the guy Ricky Gervais’ character, David Brent, had to compete with when their two branches were merging and the company was only keeping one of them as boss.

The actor is currently starring in another Britcom, No Heroics, which is about modern-day superheroes. It has a similar running theme as the film Mystery Men.

I mention Patrick Baladi because his character in this series reminds me too much of David Brent, only he’s a lot more confident about himself. As Excelsor, he is the most revered of superheroes and he makes no qualms about being the number one. Excelsor is kind of a bully and so full of himself. It’s easy to dislike him here.

No Heroics airs on Britain’s ITV2. The program is a bit….weird. But in a funny way. I’m not quite sure if there are plans of it airing in BBC America.

The program carries only six short episodes.
