Tuesday’s Office Guest Star: James “Sawyer” Ford from “Lost”

Suspect_Arrested_In_The_Josh_Holloway_s_Robbery_2.jpgTuesday’s Office Guest Star is a feature I started about a week ago. What I do is I pick a character from a popular show and then place them into the world of The Office; just to see what would happen. My picks are usually characters that embody the atmosphere already present at Dundler Mifflin. To date, my picks have been Chloe O’Brian from 24, Jack Donaghy from 30 Rock, and Sanjaya Malakar from American Idol. This week I pick James “Sawyer” Ford from Lost.

Have you seen this guy? He’s nuts and fairly psychologically hard to figure. He’s the hero one day and the ultimate jerk the next.

So, Sawyer will show up for his first day at The Office. Immediately he’ll start nicknaming everyone.

Let’s see, Pam would be “Pammie” because she would’ve asked not to be called Pammie.
Jim would be “Wing Tips” for his hair style
Dwight would be “Jello Collector” for the many office supplies encased in Jello.
Andy would be “Tom Jones” for all of his singing
I can’t think of a clever one for Michael. Any suggestions?

During the show, Sawyer would probably try and flirt most with Angela. Angela would be the most offended by him and thus Sawyer would be immediately attracted to her. Dwight and Sawyer would envitably get into a fist fight, because that’s what Sawyer does, but Dwight would win with his pepper spray. To get back at Dwight, Sawyer would steal all of Dwight’s stuff and keep it until someone offered him the right price.
Wild_Animal_306.jpgBy the end of the day everyone will hate Sawyer, but then a giant polar bear will come storming into the Office and Sawyer will pull out his .38 caliber and take the beast down. Then he’ll be everyone’s hero.
Pam will deftly ask, “Where’d he get the gun?”
