Welcome to The Office
Pull up a chair to your cubical and come read about the funniest show on TV, NBC’s The Office.
Who here watches “The Office?”
If you aren’t watching, why not?
It is by far the funniest show since Arrested Development (may it rest in peace).
For this blog I’m going to do reviews of each epsiode, and probably some interesting tidbits about the actors and show, until the next episode rolls around. Just for your information, this Thursday NBC is re-running the first episode of this third season entitled “Gay Witch Hunt.” I suggest you tune in. You won’t regret it.

i have to say i loved this episode. there are some times that are just so awkward that you can’t help but start laughing. but saddly i won’t be able to rewatch it tonight, so i will just have to get my office fix here at work… poor me.

That sucks. I have it on my computer so I’ll watch it tonight without commercials.
Thanks for coming by Matt. Please come by more. You know you want to. You need it!
But, the part where Michael kisses Oscar in this episode made me laugh soooo hard. I found out that that whole scene was actually improvised, and wasn’t planned. Everyone had to hold in their laughter as Michael did it.

Can they top pretzel day from last week? That was a top five episode for me and didn’t even touch the business convention episode. For the most part, this season has been maintaining the excellence of the first two.
Any word on when the two branches are supposed to merge?

Anyway, to answer your question I can give you this link to an article on TV Squad called Spoilers Anonymous. It gives a little info that i truly hope isn’t true.

I liked watching The Office, but I think it’s a brand of humor my parents never understood. (How could putting someone’s stapler in jello NOT be funny?) Thank goodness I’m out of the house! Problem now is I don’t know if they’re playing it over here in Australia…

Will you be doing any retro features on the original Office by chance? It’ll have to be retro as I can’t see Ricky doing any more
Have you guys got Extras yet?
October 28th, 2006 at 5:52 pm
DaveP,
That’s a really great idea. I do have both the seasons on DVD of the British version. And that would be a great idea to talk about them while waiting in between episodes.
I just may do that. Thanks DaveP. We do have Extras, it’s on HBO though, and I don’t have HBO. I saw the first episode of it, it was pretty funny. But, I love the British version. I spent 2 years in England and so I know British humor, which helps a lot.
But, if I do do that feature, I’ll give you full credit for the idea. Thanks.
Aaron.
