What is the Dunder Mifflin Infinity?
For awhile now, we’ve learned that Ryan The Temp (who is now, of course, Ryan The Boss), has big plans for Dunder-Mifflin and hopes to bring it to the “digital age”. Which probably explains what this is all about.
The webby’s looking pretty good, huh?
I have no doubt this has something to do with Ryan’s story line. In fact, we’ll probably learn more of this as The Office Season 4’s episode 2 unfolds. The episode description from NBC Universal Media Village:
THE OFFICE
DUNDLER-MIFFLIN INFINITYTHERE’S A NEW BOSS IN TOWN - Much to the dismay of Michael (Golden Globe winner Steve Carell) and many of the employees, Ryan (B.J. Novak) returns to the Scranton branch of Dunder Mifflin to bring the company into the digital age. Angela (Angela Kinsey) is still upset about her cat. Rainn Wilson, John Krasinski, Jenna Fischer, Melora Hardin, Ed Helms, Leslie David Baker, Brian Baumgartner, Kate Flannery, Oscar Nunez, Phyllis Smith, Paul Lieberstein, Mindy Kaling, Craig Robinson and Creed Bratton also star.
The second episode for The Office airs on October 4th, and once again this is another hour-long treat.
Update: The Office Tally reports on Sept 13 that the website is in fact a game site where fans can actually play among each other.
