Why are We on Hiatus?: Some Speculations

by

I have just been informed that we can expect, not two, but three weeks of re-runs for The Office. There may be more than that, but that’s the info I have for the moment. So, I sat down in my thinking chair and furrowed by brow until I came up with some reasons for this cruel hiatus.

48754.jpg1. David Denman (Roy) and John Krasinski (Jim) have to undergo intensive training for the fight they will envitably have on the next new episode.

2. The writers have to figure out how to “kill” off Karen.

3. The writers are trying to figure all of what Creed’s next criminal exploits will be and if he’ll die in the shoot-out with the police after they find him.

4. Everyone who signed up to make a film (John, Jenna, Steve) has to now actually make their films (in 3 weeks).

5. They all went truffle hunting with Rashida Jones to Italy for 3 weeks. (See Rashida on Letterman post)

24_vorlage.jpg6. The entire cast is going to guest star on 24 as extras who get killed. Hey, from what I hear, Jack needs to up his kill count.

7. They are still debating on whether Jan will spend the next few weeks in a mental institution after going public with Michael.

8. Andy is still working on the next song he’ll be singing; this time to Kevin.

Steve-Carell_1.jpg9. Steve Carell is getting too many awards and he won’t be available for the next 3 weeks.

10. They’re fretting over how to make Jim and Pam’s second kiss as special as the first one. Ahhh.

That’s all I could think of. You guys have any ideas? Let me know.
